An enriching series of four courses divided into Foundational, Basic, Advanced, and Advanced Plus stages.<\/p>

The courses take place at The Squadron\u2019s location in Cinema City, Glilot.<\/p>

These courses deal with the realities of the world of flight both in the air and on the ground. They combine a fun experience with real world learning, growth, and empowerment all while giving you the tools to achieve excellence. The lessons learned and skills accrued were designed to be easily implemented in your personal life.<\/p>

The courses focus on components such as learning processes, overcoming obstacles, personal empowerment, teamwork, leadership, and more. These skills are major contributing factors to the IAF\u2019s success.<\/p>

Courses are led by senior IAF fighter pilots (res.) and former flight simulator instructors.<\/strong><\/p>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe first of four teen courses, taking place at The Squadron in Cinema City, Glilot. This first course deals with the basics of flight. Trainees will learn how to take off, positively control the aircraft, perform aerobatics, navigate accurately, and land safely. After the first week, trainees will be fully controlling the aircraft, enabling them to execute missions independently (solo qualifiers). This combination of a unique and meaningful experience empowers young boys and girls by encouraging them to grow and learn. The course provides participants with skills to advance in the fields of personal development, overcoming failure, teamwork, and more, which is presented in a manner that is relatable and relevant to the youth. \u201cWatching our youth learn and challenge themselves through The Squadron\u2019s interactive experience was an integral part of our vision. Our youth courses, catering to young teens all over Israel, are the fulfillment of that dream.<\/p>

To date, many dozens of boys and girls have completed our youth courses. As someone who accompanies them from day one until their final course graduation, I feel great pride in seeing them push themselves, learn, and successfully overcome obstacles.<\/p>

Participants learn the importance of teamwork and perseverance as they are forced to deal with obstacles, instilling in them a sense of pride and independence. The fact that our previous course graduates have become instructors and taken on the challenges that come with it, is a testament to the values passed on in these courses. \u201c<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

There were three courses and I chose to continue and complete all of them because I felt that the courses helped me on a personal level to achieve my goals in everyday life. Flying in a simulator forces you to challenge yourself and understand your capabilities and limits which in turn made me learn about myself.\n\nToday I am a part of The Squadron staff. I take part in projects and play an active roll in our daily flight training. He continued to push himself and soon enough he had completed all of their courses and was asked to continue at The Squadron as an instructor. Ever since then, The Squadron has been like a family to him. A family where everyone is motivated towards lifting everyone up.\n\nNot a day goes by where he isn\u2019t involved in some way with The Squadron. It is a big part of his life and even in our own home. As a mother I could not ask for a better environment for him. When I applied the skills I learned during the courses, like teamwork and self-improvement to my real life, whether in athletics or test taking, I was able to succeed more and avoid reoccurring mistakes. I think that every kid should learn the skills that a debriefing provides. I started using it in my everyday life as I\u2019m sure my other course mates do too.\n\nThe Squadron was like a home to me where I learned from amazing people who never stopped surprising me with their warmth and willingness to help me and all those who wanted to learn. I was a little nervous when I moved from trainee to instructor, but the staff here were very welcoming and made the process easy.\n\nThe simulators gave us a window into the incredible world of aviation but at the same time was much more than that. My wife and I met during our IAF service, our daughter served in the IAF, and from a young age, Tomer has been drawn to\n\naviation and space. After seeing an advertisement for opening of The Squadron, I immediately knew that we must go visit and try it out for ourselves. We instantly realized that this is much more than just a simulator center \u2013 it is a place of values, with aspirations of excellence, led by inspiring role models.\n\nTomer came to The Squadron as he was beginning high school. With the help of The Squadron, he met friends his age as well as adult mentors who will stay with him for life and learned useful skills like the debriefing methodology, planning, recovering from failures, and more, which will help him in school, in preparation for his military service, and general day to day life. To the instructor, Mai Yona, who led and guided me for an entire summer with dedication and compassion. The youth courses are very hands on and gave me so many new skills, and I got to experience flying a flight simulator!
